We continue to increase the numbers of people in Thanet that we are able to help – in the past year we saw 3,159 clients, up 39% on the previous year.
There are also more ways for people to access services, with additional drop-in services in Ramsgate, a wide range of outreach locations in the community, and an established telephone advice service to supplement email contacts. And we expect this to grow further in 2025-6
We also said goodbye to Angela Drew-Robinson who retired in May 2025. Angela took on the role of Chief Officer in 2021 having worked her way up from a volunteer post in 2003. We wish her a long and happy retirement!
While we look to recruit a new, permanent Chief Officer we are grateful to Citizens Advice Maidstone for sharing their CO, Paul Hardy, on an interim basis.
