Congratulations on our Volunteer Jan receiving a Special Mention Award!
Citizens Advice are celebrating their 85th Year. As part of the celebrations, they’ve launched the ‘Special Mention Award’ to recognise the vital role of volunteers in our history. The award recognises volunteers who have shown themselves to be exceptional in some way. Jan has been a volunteer with Citizens Advice for over 12 years. She has been a stalwart of our service, being there through difficult times, ensuring Citizens Advice maintains a service to our community. Offering her skills and always helping and supporting in whatever way she can. We are delighted that Jan’s contribution and generosity in serving the local communities has been officially recognised and a big thank you goes to Jan. Jan somehow feels that the Award ought to go to all those who have helped to resurrect the Thanet Service over the past two years but is pleased that we feel she has helped in that.
We agree, our Volunteers are an amazing bunch of people, and our thanks go out to all of them.
